Involio provides the verified data and the tools, but how you use them defines your success. Building a repeatable strategy is the best way to protect your account and grow your portfolio over time.

Disclaimer: The strategies below are community-tested methods for using the platform and are not financial advice. Trading involves significant risk; never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

1. Common Platform Strategies

There is no single "right" way to use Involio. Here are a few ways users approach the platform:

  • The "Volume" Approach: Spreading risk across many trades. For example, placing 10–20 trades a day but only risking a small, fixed percentage (e.g., 2%) on each.

  • The "High-Conviction" Approach: Finding 5–10 "Elite" traders on the Fire Moves feed, turning on their notifications, and only entering trades when those specific individuals make a move.

  • The "Discount" Entry: Some users wait for an expert's trade to go slightly "into the red" (negative P&L) before they mimic it. This allows them to get a better entry price than the original trader.

2. Protecting Your Account (Risk Management)

The most common reason for "blowing an account" is poor risk management, not a bad strategy. Follow these principles to stay safe:

  • Fixed Allocation: Decide on a set percentage of your portfolio for every trade (e.g., 2% or 5%) and stick to it. Avoid the urge to "go all in" on a single trade.

  • Understand Leverage: Leverage is a tool, but it’s a double-edged sword. Higher leverage means your stop-loss will trigger much faster. If you are new, consider lowering the leverage preset by the trader you are following.

  • Diversify Your Traders: Don't rely on just one person. Even the best traders have losing streaks. By following multiple experts with different styles (e.g., one who trades BTC and one who trades NFTs), you reduce your "single-point-of-failure" risk.

3. How to Find Top Talent

Involio makes it easy to separate the pros from the "gurus" through data:

  • Fire Moves Feed: Your primary source for high-probability trades curated by our algorithm.

  • Top 10 Portfolios: Check the "Top 10" leaderboard, which updates every week. This helps you find traders who are currently "hot" and performing well in the current market conditions.

  • Verified Stats: Before following, always look for a high Green-to-Red trade ratio and a consistent ROI % over a large sample size of trades (e.g., 100+ trades).

4. Taking Ownership

Ultimately, every trade you mimic is your trade.

  • Set Your Own Rules: Decide your daily "Max Loss" (e.g., "If I lose X amount today, I stop trading").

  • Keep Notifications On: Real-time updates are your best friend. Being notified the second an expert exits a trade allows you to protect your capital before the market shifts.
