Once you have mimicked a trade, Involio keeps you connected to that trader’s strategy. Here is how to handle updates, closes, and manual adjustments.

1. Following a Trade Exactly

When you click Mimic, the app automatically sets the Take Profit, Leverage, and Position Size to match the expert. By swiping immediately without changing the sliders, you are entering the trade with the exact same parameters as the person you are following.

2. Handling Trade Closures

You can view all your active positions in your Trade Dashboard.

• The Red "Closed" Alert: If a trade in your dashboard turns red and says "The trader closed," it means the person you mimicked has exited their position.

• Your Choice: You can choose to keep the trade open if you believe it has more room to run, or you can click Close and Confirm to exit alongside the expert.

3. Syncing with Trade Updates (The Blue Circle)

Top traders often adjust their strategies while a trade is live.

• The Blue Indicator: If you see a Blue Circle underneath one of your active trades, it means the trader you followed has made an update (such as moving their Take Profit or increasing their position).

• Copying Updates: Click the blue circle to see the specific changes. You can click Copy to instantly update your own trade to match theirs—whether it’s locking in a new profit target or adding more capital to the move.

4. Manual Adjustments & Personal Control

Even though you are following someone else, you are always the "pilot" of your own portfolio:

• Custom Stop-Loss/Take-Profit: You can manually edit your trade at any time to set a tighter stop-loss or a different profit target than the person you followed.

• Adjusting Position Size: You can increase or decrease your investment in a live trade independently.

• Early Exit: You don't have to wait for the expert. If you are happy with your gains or want to cut a loss early, you can close the trade manually at any time.

• Transparency: Within any active trade, you can look at the top right corner to see exactly which user and which specific portfolio you are currently following (e.g., @kregar).
